Minissha Lamba’s name involed in a multi-crore property scam!: It was just a few days back when I-T (Income Tax department) came out with a shocking revelation of Priyanka Chopra’s many flats in Mumbai. Now actress Minissha Lamba’s name is involved in a multi-crore property scam.

While talking to a tabloid, Minissha clearly states that her name is used to cheat people. The names of Minissha and Hollywood actress Tara Reid were part of the promotion campaign for the housing project by Santorini Development in Dubai. It even claimed that Minissha has bought the house in the project.

“I have no clue how something like this has happened. Forget about buying property in Dubai, I have not even entertained the notion yet,” Minissha is quoted as saying by the tabloid. She feels sorry for the people who have been tricked to invest their hard-earned money in this fake housing project.

The four who are accused in this Rs 11.5 crore scam are locked behind bars for three years.

Minissha Lamba to get her dream role in Shirish's next film 'Joker': Minissha Lamba has been waiting for a big project to give the much needed boost to her career. That boost has now come with her having landed a role in Shirish Kunder’s film Joker. Albeit, she is not cast as the female lead.

“Minissha Lamba has been cast as the heroine opposite Shreyas Talpade in 'Joker',” Shirish wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

Minissha herself is quite excited about working with Shirish Kunder whom she admits to admire as a film-maker.

“Gonna start filming a new movie soon..Shirish Kunder's 'Joker'. It's a blessing to work with people whose work one has admired,” Minissha also wrote on Twitter.

She was last seen in the national award winning film Well Done Abba.

The Bollywood connection in ‘Contract’ does not end with Minnisha though. Joining her will be Mallika Sherawat who will reportedly perform to an item number for the Ramachandra production. The producer candidly admits that he initially had actress Anushka Sharma in mind for Minnisha Lamba’s role in ‘Contract’. However, with things not working out between the crew and Anushka, the next best option was Minnisha.

With names like Arjun, Minnisha Lamba and Mallika Sherawat to boast of and a million dollar budget set aside for the film, ‘Contract’ sure sounds like a superhit in the making.

Minissha co-hosted the opening ceremony of the Film Festival along with Prachi Desai. Minissha's floor length gown, embellished with rhinestones, had draped front and pleating detail on bodice. The 25-year-old Kidnap star accessorized with silver metallic heels, chunky full on bling earrings and a matching bracelet in her right arm.

Her hair was styled in a sleek ponytail with side swept bangs framing her forehead. More than hosting the star studded event the actress was looking forward to watching the opening film - The Social Network.

In Sagar Ballary's Hum Tum Aur Shabana, Minissha participates in a Miss World pageant and to prepare for it, she is reportedly watching the videos of Ash's Miss World victory diligently-to get the style, look and catwalk perfect.

The filmmakers, sources said, want the storyline to have similarities with the early life of Ash-when she was just entering showbiz. The scene will be shot soon at a huge set erected specially for the contest sequence.

Other than Minissha, fashionable and sexy models will be a part of the sequence, as well as Pia Trivedi who plays Minissha's biggest competitor in the film show.
