'Bigg Boss' and 'Rakhi Ka Insaaf' now only for adults!: The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has reportedly told the Colors and Imagine TV channels to air the shows Bigg Boss 4 and Rakhi Ka Insaaf only after 11 pm.
The order virtually puts the two shows in the adult-viewing slot. The IB ministry decision has come after a slew of complaints from TV viewers and women’s outfits about the objectionable content shown on these programmes which is not suitable for viewing by kids and families.
Now, the two shows will be telecast in the bracket of 11 pm to 5 am. Even the repeat episodes can be aired only within this time bracket.
“We have not asked the producers of the show to modify content or have not done any sort of censoring, just shifted the time slots allotted to them,” a senior ministry official is quoted to have said.
The shifting of the time slots is going to affect the TRPs of the two shows. Rakhi’s show has particularly been under the heat after a participant whom Rakhi called ‘impotent’ on her show allegedly killed himself.

Legal Case against Rakhi Sawant
Legal Case against Rakhi Sawant: The spitfire host of ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’, Rakhi Sawant, has landed in legal trouble after the death of a participant who appeared on the show in October.
A case has been registered against Rakhi and others in the Prem Nagar police station in Jhansi from where Laxman Prasad, the contestant who is now dead, came. The 24-year-old Laxman had appeared on the show in October along with his wife to solve a marital discord. But the show’s host Rakhi had lambasted him and allegedly called him “namard” (unmanly) and “napunsak” (impotent), after which Laxman was constantly ridiculed in his locality, according to his mother. Thereafter Laxman went into depression, stopped eating and eventually died on November 10.
UP Police DGP Brijlal has said that Rakhi and others have been charged under sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and 120 (concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) of the Indian Penal Code.
According to reports, if Rakhi does not seek anticipatory bail, she might even be arrested.

Rakhi Ka Insaaf Tv Show: Contestant upset over the remarks
Rakhi Ka Insaaf Tv Show: Contestant upset over the remarks: In October this year, Prasad and his wife Vineeta had appeared on Rakhi’s show to sort of their marital discord. However, according to Prasad’s mother, the ill-treatment by Rakhi on the show caused Prasad to go into depression.
“My son was so upset with the indecent remarks that he stopped meeting any outsiders or neighbours, who used to laugh at him referring to the remarks by Rakhi Sawant...They (neighbours) had seen the show and how that girl (Sawant) referred to my son as 'namard and napunsak' (impotent),”' Prasad’s mother Savitri Ahirwal told reporters on Thursday.
Prasad died on Wednesday due to weakness. He allegedly had stopped eating.
“Upset over the remarks, my son went into acute depression and even stopped eating food... He gradually became weak and frail and ultimately died yesterday... No one other than Rakhi Sawant is responsible for the untimely death of my son,” she added.
Prasad’s family members are now planning to take legal action against Rakhi.

'Rakhi Ka Insaaf' competes with BB4, MC & KBC
'Rakhi Ka Insaaf' competes with BB4, MC & KBC: Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss has gone on air, Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati will start soon and Akshay Kumar is waiting with his Master Chef to hit the small screen, and taking on all these bigwigs is telly queen Rakhi Sawant with her show Rakhi Ka Insaaf.
Who will win in this battle of TRPs depends on the audience. Bigg Boss 4 had a remarkable first day which sent the ratings to a new high. Rakhi’s show will start along with Akshay’s Master Chef on October 16.
However, the timings of the two shows are different. Rakhi Ka Insaaf is set for late night slot at 10 pm and Akki’s cookery show will air at 9 pm.
Rakhi’s last show, her Swayamvar, was a huge hit with the masses. The show was a success from the start and its first episode recorded a 3.5 TRP while its last episode had 6.3 rating, highest ever for the channel.
Now it has to be seen how this reality show star pulls the show and succeeds.
