Dabangg’s latest item song Munni makes Zandu Balm badnaam?: “Main Zandu Balm hui, darling tere liye” gyrates Malaika Arora to the popular item song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from the current box office rage Dabangg starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.

But the line hasn’t gone down well with the makers of the Zandu Balm, a pain relief ointment. From what we hear, the company has sent a legal notice to producers Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora, Shri Ashtavinayak and director Abhinav Kashyap for using the company’s popular brand name in the song without permission.

The company’s counsel Ashok M Saraogi has sent a notice which reportedly says: “In the song, the name Zandu balm has been used continuously at various places. By using the brand name in the song, you have not only violated the copyright of my clients, but you have also made an attempt to defame the reputation of my clients and the product manufactured by them.”

The manufacturers of Zandu balm want the name deleted from the song.

Malaika and Alvira war over Katrina Kaif screening of 'Dabangg': Malaika Arora Khan and Alvira Khan had a bit of a misunderstanding at a special screening of Dabangg held in Bandra, apparently over Katrina Kaif, who they kept addressing as ‘her’.

The special screening of Dabangg on Monday and Tuesday night saw a huge turnout of stars, especially from the Salman camp. But the most important person missing was Salman Khan’s former girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

An eyewitness reveals, “While all the stars were making their appearances, Salman’s sister Alvira Khan and sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan were busy arguing over inviting ‘her’ (Katrina Kaif). Malaika questioned Alvira if she had invited her, to which Alvira replied that she thought Malaika was inviting her. Alvira then mentioned that she had a separate guest list which did not include her name. Malaika replied back, ‘Anyways she wouldn’t come for the screening, even if she was called.’ The discussion between both the ladies clearly indicated that they were discussing Katrina, since she was the important guest missing on the list.”

Monday night was a screening held by Salman and Tuesday by Malaika Arora Khan, but on both the days Katrina was missing. Now what we are wondering is if Salman invited her or not!
