Malaika Arora is like a brand ambassador of Zandu balm!

Malaika Arora
Malaika Arora is like a brand ambassador of Zandu balm: The ‘Munni’ song from Dabangg not only catapulted the popularity of Malaika Arora but also of Zandu balm. Remember the line Main Zandu balm hui darling tere liye.
The balm manufacturers, miffed about the use of their brand name in the song, had issued a notice to the Dabangg makers.

Thus Munni aka Malaika came to the rescue of her husband Arbaaz Khan, the producer of the film, and in an out-of-court settlement, the problem got solved. “It was always a win-win situation for both sides.

We will have tie-ups with their company. Malaika will be their brand ambassador,” Arbaaz confirms to a tabloid.

Earlier, Malaika has also endorsed Chaini Khaini, a kind of leavened tobacco.

Adman Prahlad Kakkar, who knows both the parties, acted as a mediator and helped in sorting out the issue.

It’s learnt Prahlad will soon direct Malaika in the balm ad. Shall we expect gyrations like Munni’s?

Dabangg’s latest item song Munni makes Zandu Balm badnaam?

Dabangg’s latest item song Munni makes Zandu Balm badnaam?: “Main Zandu Balm hui, darling tere liye” gyrates Malaika Arora to the popular item song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from the current box office rage Dabangg starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.
But the line hasn’t gone down well with the makers of the Zandu Balm, a pain relief ointment. From what we hear, the company has sent a legal notice to producers Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora, Shri Ashtavinayak and director Abhinav Kashyap for using the company’s popular brand name in the song without permission.

The company’s counsel Ashok M Saraogi has sent a notice which reportedly says: “In the song, the name Zandu balm has been used continuously at various places. By using the brand name in the song, you have not only violated the copyright of my clients, but you have also made an attempt to defame the reputation of my clients and the product manufactured by them.”

The manufacturers of Zandu balm want the name deleted from the song.

Salman Khan with Bollywood SuperStar at Dabangg Premiere

Salman Khan with Bollywood SuperStar at Dabangg Premiere: Salman Khan  looked stylish in black and beamed with confidence at the premiere of his much hyped corrupt cop thriller Dabangg in Mumbai.
Salman Khan
He opted for a dapper look: half sleeve shirt, slim pants, and black dress shoes. He accessorized with his signature bracelet and a black leather belt studded with blue stones, matching the ones on his bracelet. His hair was slicked back.
Salman arrived at the venue with sister Arpita Khan who looked a doll in a black halter gown.

He personally received Bollywood veterans Dharmendra, Jitendra, Sanjay Khan and Shatrughan Sinha, and posed with them for photogs.
He walked the red carpet with Sonakshi Sinha looking rather somber, standing next to the débutante with a wide smile.

Salman's fans thronged the venue, eager to steal a glance of the star. He greeted them with a wave and shook hands with some.
He was thrilled to receive gifts from some of them. A gift that he particularly liked was a portrait of him, with which he posed for photogs.

Salman, 44, seems to have put his heart and soul into promoting Dabangg. He has looked transformed while doing so, appearing fit and youthful, with not a trace of puffiness or redness in his eyes.

He was up early this morning at 6:45am to greet his fans over Twitter:
"Eid mubarak, I am with milind deora for a morning walk I asked abt the remand home in his constituency?? He says: I will take care of it!"
