Yana Gupta’s nose fractured during performance at Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Yana Gupta will undergo a surgery today for her fractured nose. The lovely lady hurt her nose while performing for the ‘Domestic violence’ theme on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.

After the performance, Yana thought it was a minor injury but the X-ray showed otherwise. “Remember our domestic violence act? Did X-ray finally and my nose is fractured. Surgery on Thursday. I wonder how I managed to dance till the end,” Yana tweeted about her broken nose.

This Czech beauty is one of the top finalists of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and a favourite of the judges. Yana recently gained a lot of negative publicity for her no-panty appearance at an event.

Madhuri Dixit's Jhalak Dikhla Jaa beats Shahrukh Khan's Zor Ka Jhatka:  There was not enough zor in Shahrukh Khan’s Zor Ka Jhatka as it was trumped by Madhuri Dixit’s Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4.

With Madhuri on board the reality dance show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is having its best season ever, and the show had opened with TRP rating of 5.6, in comparison Shahrukh’s Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipe Out has opened with a mere 2.6 ratings.

What’s more Big B’s Kaun Banega Crorepati season 4, had opened with 5.4 TRP and Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 4 had TRPs of 3.6 on day 1.

Reportedly, Shahrukh Khan is being paid Rs.20 crore to host the show, and the channel produces are confident about the show being a smash hit.

If the producers have their way, we may even see the witty SRK entertaining us with his one liners in season 2 of the show.

Malaika Arora to teach Madhuri Dixit dance to ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’: The ‘Munni’ magic has rubbed on the undisputed dance diva Madhuri Dixit as well.

Not so long back, when Madhuri was asked to choose between the two hot item numbers - Munni Badnaam Hui or Sheila Ki Jawani - she praised both the numbers but chose Munni for its flat-out energy.

So while judging the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 with Malaika Arora, Madhuri did get a chance to shake a leg to the steps of ‘Munni’. Apparently, it was Malaika herself who took the lead and showed the ‘Munni’ steps to Madhuri.

What followed was the rare sight of two of the best dancers of Bollywood dancing to the beat of the most popular song of 2010.

Daya Shetty eliminate from Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Actor Daya Shetty, known for his role in the crime thriller “C.I.D.”, is the latest celebrity who has been voted out of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4.

Daya and his choreographer Vrushali couldn’t perform in the last week’s episode due to the actor’s back problem. However unlike other eliminated contestants Daya got a chance to perform in front of the judges on the day of his elimination.
According to a source, on the demand of judges Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora and Remo D’Souza, Daya and his choreographer performed on the hit number “Ayo re ayo re”, and even got standing ovation not only from the judges but also from the audience.

To add to this, an overjoyed Remo told Daya that C.I.D. and Sony should consider introducing a Robot Cop and Daya should play that role in the show.

So far Anushka Manchanda, Renuka Shahane, Akhil Kumar and Krushna Abhishek have been eliminated, while Yana Gupta and Ankita Lokhande are back in the show as wild card entries.

The episode featuring Daya’s elimination will be aired Monday on Sony.

Ankita Lokhande eliminate from Madhuri Dixit's Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: After the shocking elimination of Krushna Abhishek and Yana Gupta, TV actress Ankita Lokhande and her choreographer Nishant have been voted out of Sony TV’s dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4" Viewers have voted the duo out of the show despite their impressive performances, and the judges - Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan and Remo D’Souza - were quite shocked at the announcement, said a source.

In fact, Malaika once even complimented them for their “sizzling chemistry”.

Ankita, known as Archana of “Pavitra Rishta”, didn’t take the ouster in her stride and ran off the sets. Her beau and onscreen co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, who has been performing consistently well in the dance show, ran after her to console her.

“Sasuraal Genda Phool” actress Ragini Khanna was in the danger zone along with Ankita, who was later heard saying - “How could I be eliminated?”

The episode featuring her elimination will be on air Monday.

Yana Gupta will re-enter the show as a wildcard entry on Tuesday’s episode.

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Sushant and mate surprise with dazing Salsa on the show: Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was quite an amazing extravaganza of dance performances this Tuesday as the contestants fought it out on the dance floor with absolutely astounding performances that spelt class, magic and an absolutely balanced tapping of the feet making it a treat for all the viewers.

Even though all the eleven contestants had something quite unique to show on the dance floor, it was the handsome hunk Sushant and his dance partner Shampa that stole the entire limelight along with the judge’s hearts with an outstanding performance which had a ghostly background to it with Shampa dancing as the ghostly gal all in white with ruffled hair et al to give that eerie effect.

Well ,such was the effect of the dance performance by Sushant and Shampa that their dazzle with  salsa on stage had made the judges go completely awe struck and thus gave them a standing ovation with a score of a full on 30 on 30,which is quite a rarity on the show.

To get a full on score from these three judges on the panel  namely Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora and Remo D’Souza  is the ultimate victory for any couple on the contestants list and by achieving that mark the couple Sushant and Shampa have not only raised the bar for the others but also for themselves.

It remains to be seen who the dazzlers are going to be on the show next week.

Shahrukh Khan to give tightest hugs to Madhuri!: Bollywood’s Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit is not seen often screens after her marriage but she still command huge respect in the film industry. Guess what Shahrukh Khan did when he met her? Believed it or not, he walked up to her, hugged her tight and kissed her hand.

It all happened on the sets of television reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 where Madhuri is a judge. Shahrukh, who was shooting for Ra.One in Filmstan, stopped his car on seeing Madhuri’s name on a vanity van. He entered the sets and greeted the actress with a tight hug and a kiss on her hand.

Shahrukh said that he would love to act with the veteran actress again and that he would be very pleased if she at least makes a guest appearance in one of his forthcoming films. He added that they had a good time on the sets talking about their children.

Well, it would be a treat for film lovers to see them on big screens again!

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is back with its fourth season and it has the effervescent dancing queen of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit as the judge along with the sultry Malaika Arora and choreographer Remo D’Souza.

Who are the contestants? The lovely Renuka Shahane will be seen on small screen after a hiatus, ready to floor her fans with her dance. Television’s favourite bahu Ragini Khanna from Sasural Genda Phool is also participating. Singer Anushka Manchanda and the item girl Yana Gupta will also be flaunting their foot-jugglery.

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is based on Strictly Come Dancing show on BBC One in UK, which has been a huge success in over 30 countries like America, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy where it is known as Dancing with the Stars. However, the Indian version has been extensively re-modelled to appeal to the country's viewers who love to watch the stars doing Bollywood foot-tapping numbers.
